Street rumors are Fox is considering a 24 hour business channel... Cnbc is going off the air --- maybe Fox can do it.
More Dhue, less skirt.
Relegate O'Reilly to a late night spot to complete with Leno.
Get rid of these "formers" and get new ones. I'm sick of these people.
Bring back Tony Snow and can Chris Wallace.
Give Brit Hume a better time slot. Replay his show first instead of O'Reilly after just 2 hours.
More good news on Iraq. Show what our people are doing over there like rebuilding schools, homes and hospitals. Not all Iraquis are bad. Show the ones that want us there and tell their stories.
Spend more time on some topics. Often it just gets interesting when they cut it off and go to something else.
Use the mute button. If a guest gets out of line (this includes Ann Coulter) just shut their mike off. Never ever allow Robert Kennedy jr or Sharpton on Fox.
Have whoever writes those crawlers at the bottom of the screen use spellcheck and do a preview before putting them up. I spot mistakes there all the time.
Get rid of the stupid wide banner thing just above the crawler. It's annoying and often blocks much of the video they show. There's nothing worse than Shep showing a car chase and all you can see is the top of the cars ;-)
Less books, less repeated material - which reminds me of MSNBC.
Snow was too giggly for my taste.
They definitely need new people with NEW ideas.
It's all too predictable and boring.
Can't wait to hear Zell tho. Just hope he's not paired up with Hannity....
OH MAN doosee
It going down Fox news business channel rumor has might start in summer of next year 2005
That rumor right now
CNBC going off the air COOL
Cancel Fox & Friends weekend, Dari Alexander, Greta, and Geraldo (watch me pat my back) Rivera.
Move Britt to 8:00 p.m. est and reduce the arrogant O'Reilly and the tiresome shouting matches on Hannity & Colmes to half hour shows from 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Eliminate dual shows for Shephard Smith and replace his 7:00 p.m. slot with Tony Snow, Charles Krauthammer, Neil Cavuto and Zell Miller.
Temper the annoying and repetitive fox news alerts. If they insist on spoon feeding us Geraldo, let him appear ONLY on his show.
I agree with you completely...except we need to make sure that Juliet stops wearing those long skirts...
and Mahalo
Have you done your Christmas shopping yet? Bought a tree even? ;^)
Dump Greta
More Brit Hume, questioning people one on one. It doesn't matter when it takes place. It is always worth watching.
Ollie North should be on more often, questioning Liberals. I love to see them sweat and have to answer the tough questions. Ollie makes sure they do.
Speaking of Ollie, he does a marvelous job on his own show. That will one day be a classic.
Get rid of the multiple guests at one time on Hannity and Colmes. It usually ends up as a screechfest with the mouthy and impolite Liberals talking over any rational conversation. Frankly, it is too tiring trying to listen through the crosstalk. H&C is worth watching when there is one guest and the guest is allowed to answer and for there to be sane rebuttal.
John Gibson does some great stuff. More!
Do more in-depth investigative reporting, but not of these endless crime scenes! Do in-depth looks at a specific topic for 40 minutes leaving room for discussion by an intelligent panel at the end. The panel should always contain Charles Krauthammer.
Laura Ingram would be a star if she had her own free flowing show or took over from Greta The Unwatchable.
Get rid of that criminal thug Bob Beckel. That would be enough for me.
Lord I miss Tony Snow.
Me too. Luckily, I can catch him on AM Radio right before RUSH!
bttt
I say more hollering and yelling for H & C! It is amusing when Hannity makes a lib so upset that he walks off the set.
Following O'Reilly's sellout to sKerry (and still didn't get him on the show BWAHAHA) I no longer care to hear his analysis of the latest political developments. Hannity and Colmes is at its finest when there is a knock-down, drag-out war going on. And as for most of the other shows, I would generally rather be reading Clancy or Pratchett.
I agree. Do we believe it when the police critique their own, or lawyers, or the UN, or political parties? ABSOLUTELY NOT!
So what makes the journalists think they have ANY credibility as critics of their own profession? Arrogance, plain and simple.
Why not have a panel of respected non-journalists tell these bozos what is wrong with their profession and their attempts to manipulate the public to their own agendas.
I appreciate O'Reilly's conviction, regardless of his wishes to have sKerry on his show. He just wanted sKerry to be able to attempt to defend his points, which I think is fair. I love to see a good debate, O'Reilly would have toen him apart if he would have shown up. He would not have taken it easy on sKerry, of this I am sure. It is a shame sKerry didn't showup. I also LOVE the excitement of most Hannity and Colmes shows. You gotta love it when both hosts and all the guests are screaming at once, so much energy. Primetime Fox is by far the best. Just keep up the good work, IMO.
