I'll believe it when I see it.

That was a thinely veiled hit piece if I recall. Did early on to subvert the his legitimacy and to further the drama over the election debacle.

But it'll still be something bad about him, and there will be some reference to Hitler

Oddly enough Hitler was time man of the year in 1938. So was Stalin in 1939 and 1942.

Let me guess: Bush will be Time's Man of the Year, but he'll appear on the cover with razor stubble, a Nazi blood banner, and an oppressed Arab terrorist in chains with panties on his head.

I meant they assume anyone voting for Bush is dumb enough to buy their rag simply because his picture is on the cover.

That's still millions more copies than if they only sold to Kerryites.

"Battered and bloodied, the MSM tries desperately to salvage its relevance."

- I'm under no illusion that a leopard like Time is about to change it's spots. If Time does indeed name Bush man of the year, it will only be to produce what will be a thinly disguised hit piece.

I wouldn't know. I don't read Time. And I bet most people don't.

I just saw Bush's picture on the cover as "Person of the Year" as probably millions of other did.

Yes; that's why I mentioned Hitler. I'm guessing they'd allude to their previous selection of Hitler so that none of their cocktail party hosts would be tempted to interpret this as in any way positive for President Bush.

It really is amazing that anyone with any kind of a brain would read either TIME or Newsweek magazine. If you really want to see how terrible they are with having their finger on the pulse of the nation pick up some old copies of issues that were printed one, two, three or four weeks before the elections. They didn't have a clue as to what was happening. Case in point! Read the columns of Howard Fineman, one of Newsweek's top boys. A bigger idiot has never graced God's earth. Poor Howard rarely ever gets it right!!! These magazines, like the MSM are living in their own little "liberal/left-wing" bubble and could not give news or commentary straight to you if it meant saving their lives.
