People call my faith, the Catholic Church, the "Whore of Babylon." I don't agree and I don't like it, but I believe such people should have the freedom to say it as a civil matter.

""calling Islam a "vicious, wicked" religion"" ...sometimes the truth hurts.

Arrested or brought into the station for questioning? If he was simply questioned at the station and released was he really arrested?

"He attributed his arrest to attempts by Prime Minister Tony Blair's Labor Party to win back lost Muslim support ahead of an election expected in the spring. Many Muslim Britons strongly opposed Britain's high-profile role in the U.S.-led war in Iraq. "
Islam is the enemy of western culture and civlization.

There is no constitutional right to freedom of speech in Britain since they have no written constiturion, only tradition. Parliament can place any restrictions on freedom of speech it chooses or on anything else for that matter. It's no accident (as the Commies used to say) that Orwell's "1984" takes place in Britain.

I thought Saddam Hussein was the Whore of Babylon.

They put the Second Amendment in place to uphold the first. In England they first confiscated the guns of the citizens.

This is what comes of not having a written Constitution:
your right to free speech can evaporate.
