"Let me know when you have anything meaningful and/or reasonable to say."
I don't think he'll ever has; he'll just keep repeating himself.
Well, there is a distinction in 'christianese.' We don't consider the soul the same as the spirit. The soul is where our emotions lie. The spirit is what communes with God (or satan, if one is so inclined). It's also called the stream of consciousness in some circles.
the spirit, i.e. the vital principal by which the body is animated
a. the rational spirit, the power by which the human being feels, thinks, decides
b. the soul

Pneuma combines both ideas, assuming that there is in fact any distinction between soul and spirit. If there is some rule for translating it as " the spirit" one time and "the soul" another I'm curious to know where you found it.
then let them try to breed it out of the race. then watch the earth be populated by freaks. great plot for a movie, eh? you heard it here first!
interesting. i know i get tired of hearing how "all of a sudden my life changed when I prayed the sinner's prayer." Without casting aspersions on a solemn moment of truth, or the means by which man obtains salvation, my life changes the instant i get serious about anything.
