Young-earth creationist Kent Hovind has built a dinosaur-filled theme park in the Florida panhandle and claims to prove that evolution is bunk. A visit there shows that it is definitely a fantasy land.
Dinosaur Adventure Land is just a playground tricked out with dinosaur dressage to attract an audience that can then be enticed, seduced, and eventually duped into accepting superstitions, pseudoscience, and plain nonsense passed off with a patina of both scientific and religious authority.

Wow, scared me. I thought you were talking about Dino Rossi. We're on pins and needles out here in WA State with the Dems still trying to steal another election.

Sigh, shrug. And the sad thing is that none of this twaddle actually has anything to do with Christianity.

Scientifically, it's fair to argue that the earth is more that 6000 year old based on today's time measuring techniques (carbon dating, etc.) This doesn't necessarily mean that these techniques are inerrant or founded on right assumptions, and consequently it doesn't prove that the earth is billions of years old.
I see the Bible as being both full of facts and allegories. My guess is that the earth is considerably more than 6000 years old and I'm not certain that this view refutes scripture.
Having said this, I also believe that one needs to be a complete idiot to not see design in creation. Furthermore, would you Darwinists tell me where the transitional organisms are in the fossil record? Supposedly, we have billions of years of evolution and respective fossils where organisms transitioned from single-cell to multi-cell creatures like the sponge; to invertebrates; to vertebrates; to reptiles; to mammals; to man. Theres also the evolutionary plant track. Since we all know that billions of years were required to transition from one creature to another to another, WHERE ARE THE TRANSITIONAL ORGANISM IN THE FOSSIL RECORD? ANSWER: THEY DON'T EXIST!
I recall watching an (intellectually honest) NOVA documentary years back, which was about the origins of life. We're talking agnostic secular scientists here. One of their primary conclusions was that the evidence indicates that all major jumps between different types of life occurred "spontaneously" and "independent" of each other. Sounds like Genesis to me.

I've known that guy is fraud for quite a while, but GEEZ, this is nuts. O_o
Hopefully the law will get him before he damages too many kids' ideas about God.

Kent Hovind could always hire Laura Callahan to handle his IRS problem.

Here's one:

It's my understanding, though, that Dino lip synchs.

that's all right. there have been plenty of quacks in darwinist circles, as well. In fact, it's virtually axiomatic.

Hovind's real offense is being a bad neighbor and flouting zoning laws. He should move Dinosaur Adventure Land to the appropriate locale, and pay his fees.

There is also a detailed model of Noahs Ark.Cool! I wonder what the beetle room looks like. With 350,000+ known beetle species, it should be very impressive!
