Even Christmas.com has the Holiday disease (although not as advanced as at places like Target).

Lijahsbubbe - I like this thread. You are right about "Christmas" being taken out of Christmas and I've noticed it more this year than previous years.

johniegrad & William Terrell - What's your problem? You talk about bandwidth and all that, but you are posting needless comments on this thread hence taking up bandwidth.

If they deem it necessary, the mods would/will pull it. Go do your Ba-Humbugging elsewhere!

The forum is inundated with these one line posts. They crowd out the first page of the current posts. Every "article" like this must be stored in magnetic media, using storage space. That costs money. Overages in bandwidth on hosts cost money. I have an overage cost projection for bandwidth usage over my contract on my host that will take your breath away.

The mods cannot scan every post. Most of the time they depend on someone click the "Abuse" link. I press the "Abuse" link only on egregious violations, one that may hurt the site, otherwise I let the participants fight it out. Many problems, possibly like this one we can fix ourselves.

There are numerous threads, full articles, that discuss this. The thing to do is find one and post on it.

I'm not a "Bah. Humbug" and I am concerned about the marginalizing of Christmas and Christianity as a whole. There are better ways to explore our options.

I saw it for the first time yesterday .. and just now at 4:54 pm in San Diego.

They quote Luke 2:10-12 - and add: May the Spirit of Christmas be with you this season ...?? Can't remember if there was more to the added statement.

I'm just stunned, but delighted, at this UN-PC action.

Yay! Looks like Fox news is on the ball! I heard Rush talking about this very topic today, and even Bill O'Reilly.

This is very timely and I think we should flood the airwaves and the internet to alert people to how extreme this de-Christmassing has become!
