Hi, texasflower. I believe he was poisoned and a few doctors have been threatened to withdraw their earlier comments. Dr. Koplan (sp?) who is quoted in this article is the doctor who has now withdrawn him earlier comments or says he never said what the earlier Times article quoted him as saying.
We shall see in the coming weeks ahead what really happened. It sounds like American doctors examined him also and they will not give in to the KGB or anyone else!
But the head of the clinic, Michael Zimpfer, said there "was no evidence of poison" and that, while new medical analyses had been ordered from laboratories in the United States and Europe, "so far there is no proof" of poisoning.
"Poisoning without evidence is a bit like a murder without a body," he added.
Zimpfer said that while anything was possible, nothing had been established beyond doubt.
"Until now we have only undertaken a descriptive diagnosis," he added, and the symptoms "do not correspond to the clinical image of an illness."
I know you believe the poisoning. I had read some of your comments to destro.
That's why I posted that to you. :)
Austrian doctors who treated Yushchenko for unusual symptoms in September said they were working on three theories "related" to possible poisoning but admitted they had no evidence.
That's good because it certainly doesn't appear to correspond to any known medical illness.
I'm not fully functioning right now :-)
Thanks for the ping, texasflower.
Jellybean I am a little confused. Do you interpret this to say that he was not poisoned?
Because that is NOT what the article says.
I think you may be confused because Dr. Michael Zimpfer can't keep his story straight. First he says [there] "was no evidence of poison" and then further down he states, [the symptoms] "do not correspond to the clinical image of an illness." So, if it's not poison (food or otherwise) and it's not an illness, what is it?? Body snatchers from Pluto?
Actually I believe it was poisoning. I was uncertain about YOUR position on it.
I agree with you about Dr. Zimper though.
Chloracne is commonly associated with dioxin poisoning.
I believe he was poisoned.
Here you go posting a story that refrences the now discredited report that their was poisoning.
You are hopeless destro. The man was poisoned.
You aren't able to keep track of the new information because you are so locked into the fake one.
You obviously have a problem admitting you were wrong. If I presented lab reports, you would say they were made up ir that he did that horror to himself.
What is it going to take to convince you?
Why won't you tell me the name of the mystery virus you think it was or the pictures of bad sushi/alcohol you believe it is?
and you have zero proof he was poisoned - posting forged - hoaxed - lies saing he was poisoned.
"Comments on the latest article?"
Yes, it's disinformation, pure and simple.
You and destro are very sad, deluded people.
The hoax article was the one that denied the poisoning and said they were threatened by Yuschenko's people why? because you don't like it?
Look at his face!!! Need more proof?? Would you do this to yourself? Looks like Destro is one of the commie plants spreading disinformation as trained in the KGB camps. STFU
Look at his face? That proves he was poisoned? And by who the Russians? You can tell that by his face? It actually makes less sense for the Russians to posion him because if they get caught they are in trouble.
