I've never really liked her. Have 2 girlfriends that went into mourning when she died as if she were a family member. I could not be a very "comforting sister" to them. :)

I remember getting together with my mom and a friend in the wee hours to watch the wedding. Hey! We wanted to see the dresses!!

Louis D. Mayer, when presented with the script for "Gone With the Wind", made the remark "It's just about a bitch and a bastard".

Somehow, this situation seems to me to be worthy of Mayer's remark.

Coquetting with the camera, she comes off as a performing charmer, a practised seducer, a faithless, shrugging rich girl — more Daphne du Maurier's Rebecca than the sad wraith of Panorama.

Uh . . . I've heard of Panorama City.

Mojo nailed it in his immortal Princess Di tribute song, "Drunk, Divorced Floozie".

Good God. Will they ever just let this woman rest in peace?

Tina Brown scooping up dirt as she pretends to be better than all the other dirt scoopers. How have the mighty fallen.

My feelings too!

Diana was just a good looking woman killed in a car crash.

Now get over it!

Panorama is a Brit TV program somewhat like 60 minutes.

All I know is that when the camera lights switched off, Diana got into her limosine and sped off to another party with her celebrity A-List friends.

Mother Theresa, however, merely trudged back to the slums to help her flock.

Two deaths, same day, and look who the media keeps talking about.

Kind of gets you right there...(urp)...doesn't it?

What can one say? Like Elvis, after all these years she just keeps on giving.

Give her some credit at least. Celebrity gossip is the ONE area of journalism where Tina Brown can rightfully claim mastery. If only she would confine herself to it.

She is at peace, last I heard, she's still dead. It's the rest of us who need peace from fawning over Eurotrash.

I watched a conspirator show on Diana, after debunking the various theories calling it a simple drunk driving accident, then in the last minute of the show, it was noted the French courts had ordered a new toxicology reports as the original had him to loaded to even walk.

Two deaths days apart, not on the same day.

I think Saint (Mother) Theresa would have wanted it that way. All the attention on Diana and not on her.

I never cared for her either. There was just something calculating and manipulative about her. I got so sick of "poor Diana".....She and Chuckie deserved each other. She's dead - let her stay that way!

I agree. D'you realize, she had more extramarital flings than Charles did!

I kind of respect Charles for sticking with that one other woman, pursuing true love with someone based on her inner beauty. If he hadn't been forced to marry some ditz he barely knew, he might have found lifelong happiness with Camilla.
