Senior State Official says there was an exchange of gunfire outside the Palace where Powell was. Powell is said to be ok. Meetings are being located.

Powell is fine. He was giving his speech live on CNN as they were reporting the gunfire had ceased. Nobody seems to be hurt.

FNC .. confirming there was gunfire .. that Powel was in the Presid. Palace .. the gunfire occurred outside
Powel is safe and is being moved to a safe location
No word on who the shooter/s were

Powell is fine. That's good! We may not agree with him (or what he's reported to think, Lord only knows what's actually going on), but I wish him a long & happy retirement after years of service to the USA.
