[No one in the company’s management was even aware of Mr. Gardner’s connection to John Kerry.]

As if the company would admit doing such a thing.

I don't know.
It is a fairly detailed explanation that gives you plenty to check out and verify.
Doesn't appear to be something someone would give if lieing or trying to hide something.

Maybe! Maybe they didn't know about the Kerry truth and maybe he wasn't fired for being an American patriot, yet again. But, were I Steve, I'd check the ages of those involved. Steve has got to be about age 60. How old were the others? It may be that this company was simply getting rid of a geezer and figured Steve would go away quietly.

Hey, John what's-his-face is good at suing the begeezis out of wealthy evil doers and, he is out of a job. Steve should get himself a good EEOC attorney and see if we don't have age discrimination involving a guy the youth-nazis didn't realize was so high progile!

Is there anyway to determine Mr. Pietrzak's political affiliation or political contributions?

I will put my normal 2 cents worth.

I would buy the explanation if Mr Gardner was notified before he made his political feelings known.

In my 2 cents book it sounds like the normal employer malarkey - whatever that means?

Anyone know where Pietrzak lives?

Who else owns the company?

Would there be any damage in us doing a little investigation of our own? Here's what I'm thinking... It shouldn't be that difficult to learn the significant clients of this vengeful company. That kind of information is commonly available on the internet. (Though I think I ahve the right web link to Millenium, the one I checked out didn't have a list of customers or case studies that could be referenced.

I wonder what might happen if Millenium's customers were well informed about what Millenium alledgely has done to a moral and responsible former asset of their company. If it were my company who were a Millenium customer, I certainly would cease doing business with such an immoral company. Any thoughts about how this might happen - legally and responsibly, of course. What I'm suggesting here is nothing more than organizing a boycott of a company with a very limited set of customers.

I mean, why should Mr. Gardner be the one out of money here. I'd be happy if that financial carnage moved to the shoulders of his former employer.

Bravo Sierra

You can always find a plausible reason to get rid of an employee (Meaning one that will keep you out of a wrongful termination lawsuit). If nothing else, there is always "Re-alignment of priorities" or "Consolidation of responsibilities" or just plain downsizing. I've seen it done dozens of times in the company I work for. Savvy managers know how to do it right so the company stays out of legal trouble. Those same managers know how to keep their own jobs secure.

Their story might be more believable if there were not a pattern by the Dems. I am thinking of Alfred French the Clackamas County Oregon district attorney, who was attacked until he was suspended from his position.

4 people need to come forward to verify the employer statement: The supervisor, and the three who were fired the same day.

Mr. Gardner was informed of the layoff in a personal phone conversation with his supervisor.

Nice. They didn't even have the decency to take a trip and tell him face-to-face.
