3,000 died on one day in September 2991, and they weren't in a war fighting for our freedom.

Interesting, during the Faluja campaign the media was complaining that we were releasing body counts, what are they doing? The reason why our casualties have mounted in November is that we are giving it to the bad guys, and that means that some of the good guys will die. Blessings to their souls, but they are dying for another man's freedom, and their is no more noble sacrifice one can make.

Top story tonight on SEE-BS News along with an almost gleeful report on the Blackhawk crash in Texas.

During WW2, Families of active duty military would make a banner( a large white square, red border and blue star in the middle), and hang it in their front window so that everyone would know that there was a person from that household that was fighting for our freedom. I a gold star was put over the blue one, that meant that the service person had been killed. Some banners had as many as five gold stars. One of our boys is an officer on an Air Craft Carrier and is reasonably safe, but when they pull into an overseas port, the officers spend their time on shore duty, and it can get tricky, because of the hatred that some countries have for us. BTW my Husband experienced the same treatment during the cold war, so this hatred is nothing new.
