Decent read, I was prepared for a read on the website of a similar name, you know, the one that purports that W ordered the attack on 9/11 that the pentagon was a missile and all that other absolute nonsense.

I spent Thankgiving at my Mother's home in Ohio. She's a lib, as is my sister. We got into a major confrontation. They threw out "Oh, I guess you didn't see Fahrenheit 9/11" I absolutely BLEW my stack. They think I'm a rube, when I'm the most informed person in my family. It boggles the mind how well leftist propganda works.

"Oh, I guess you didn't see Fahrenheit 9/11"

"You were uninformed enough not to see the dozen completely unsupportable distortions in the first three minutes, and not get sick?" :)

ONE of those "Bonesmen" has acquitted Himself With Honor--the OTHER is a "World-Class Phony!!"

You "Figure It Out."

"The People" were NOT fooled.

Farewell, Captain, we barely knew ye..

Darn, just as I was going to ask the Captain to explain how "inarticulateness" differs from "the ability to speak coherently."

I didn't know what you meant by RTD until I copied and pasted the URL. I usually only go to out of town paper's when the evil and most effective lobby in the country, and it's oldest civil rights organization, suggests it in their "in the News" of the day.

I immediately recognized the quotes. They're from the town I was born in and where I still happen to live. I can't wait to leave it. I was going to post the article. It was posted three times, at least one time poorly edited. It totaled about 9300 hits here on FR. These folks here in the Big Apple have attracted some of the worst idiots, freaks and schemers from all over the world. There are still some decent folks here with common sense, but the overwhelming majority are clueless. Here's the story from where the quotes originated.

Neverdem, I just assumed you were a Virginian, since you posted a Richmond Times-Dispatch article.

I have friends in the City, and in-laws on the island and in Chappaqua (one of the only Republican families there!). I love New York, and it's equally disheartening to me to read quotes from presumably knowledgable professionals who should know better than to stereotype those of us in the South. I live here because I abhor pretension, and despite the stereotypes others have of us, we are a friendly, tolerant people.

I know what it's like to dislike where you live. I lived in San Diego for 11 years, 8 of which were wonderful. Then the materialism got to me, and it was time to re-pioneer the South.

Are you in the medical profession?

I'm a psychologist, definitely not in the mold of the APA activitists. My specialty is cognitive assessment and treatment.

I was in Korea, only for a year, but in that year I met a few enlisted who had just received their third Purple Heart.

NONE of them wanted to go home until their buddies did!

What a clear, concise, and readable synopsis of the whole affair.

Jim and John, and YOU, seem to want to spin this away from what is uncomfortable for them. The guy at PEW only took 48 hrs. or so before wanting to INSIST that 'value voters' didn't really matter - it was the war, or the economy. I said at the time, here and in the journal, that the left would be uncomfortable with the idea that people of faith voted Bush in. That would suggest that people of faith might be rewarded by a pro-life Justice, or high court appointees, a pro-life Amendment and whatever else. Defense of marriage, and so on.

But the effort to spin this as just another Marxist exercise is not convincing. And I just wanted to tell you that.
