From your FReepmail: (Keep it in the forum, btw)
I'm not going to argue the point with a liberal idiot, it's obvious you have way too much experience... Deparate Housewife.
What have I said to make you believe that I am a liberal? I may well be an idiot, though, you win that point.
I doubt you have much of a leg to stand on morality wise, and have doubtless not seen the show, which is far more tame than daytime soaps. You have never let your kid see or hear any of them have you? oooooh, bad parent! (just kidding, I don't believe that and won't comment on a persons parenting skills based on this thread.)
I applaud your efforts to do what you feel is right. Why is it that you think we should live in a "Hillary Village? The majority of americans would disagree with you as do I.
To: Fierce Allegiance
Ask it what "Deparate" means, BTW.

My bride an I content ourselves with the History Channel, and some of those home redo shows on TLC.
Even there I have to ask "Why is there a three part series on the History of Sex, and can that female carpenter be possibly meeting the OSHA regs while wearing THAT! "

Honestly haven't seen the show, but a friend of mine described it as a soft core porn show trying to have a plot. Soft core porn? Where?

I saw the show last night for the first time and I didn't think it was raunchy at all.

Not only is the show gravely immoral, but looks quite cheesy as well... 2 things, 1st...have you ever watched it? Second, isnt most stuff on tv?
To: TheBigB
I saw that, and though about the glass house and my not-so-perfect typing skill. I would rather debate on merit than presentation. I really would rather not debate at all, but I guess I brought it on on this thread.
Way too many holier-than-thou people here for me.
To: MikeinIraq
I really do think the show should be on HBO, not in the regular network lineup. Even while channel surfing with kids in the room, you still may have some "splainin to do".

Nice eye candy. But those huge graphics are really thread-killers for those of us on dialup.

There's always some. As for me, I never thought there was any more violence and sexual innuendo and immorality on DH than in a typical Sawx-Yankees game. ;-)

Food for thought: Yum! Brands is the legacy of Dave Thomas: a great Christian. (He helped make KFC what it is today through the power of prayer)

I really do think the show should be on HBO, not in the regular network lineup. Bingo. You have elegantly summarized the lion's share of my objections to the show in one sentence. Well done.
