Yes, most are aware of that. However, I can assure you that the owner of this site is working direct channels with Steve. His permission is needed before things go forward. Be patient! We're all eager to part with our bucks for this patriot!

Gardner has put a lot of time in on radio shows, meetings, etc., and has also gotten a lot of guff from demonstrators, etc.

He sounds like the kinda guy we'd like to have around here.

Hoping he gets that help from "Robe" and the legalities are at least investigated...

I am sure, tho, that there are plenty of FReeper enterprises that would like to hire him, as a man of grit, honor and integrity.

In the meantime, if the proceeds of the Swiftie book are to go to naval families on hard times, I would nominate this situation as one that is justified...

Opps should have mentioned that he is the President of Steve Gardners company that fired him.

Brit just summarized Mary Laney's column. No editorial comment that I could discern.

I'm less interested in banging on his former employer (sounds like nobody would want to work for those scum anyway now that we know this about them), than I am raising donations for Steve Gardner. FR is working that process as we type....

"Those who advocate robbing (taxing) Peter to pay Paul...will always have the support of Paul."

My experience is that when robbing Peter to pay Paul makes for a sore Peter. Just thoughts from an old guy.

"...spot in the new White House Administration."

YES! Will email President Bush about this. Seriously.

I do not hire Democrats, for example. I find them lazy, stupid, and much more likely to blame others for their shortcomings.

LOL.

Can you please PING me when it is in place how to make a donation? He is a veteran of the highest and truest kind, and has fought way above and beyond the call -- he deserves our help while he gets back on his feet.

"Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you." Jesus (Matthew 5:10-12)

"10th Brother" ping.

(This man is now paying for exposing John Kerry for what he is - a coward worm opportunistic Democrat who tried to lie his way into the White House.)

________________________________________________

This is the story of a military veteran whistleblower. He spoke out against someone he thought was dangerous for the nation, talked to local newspapers, and appeared on talk shows.

In return, he was vilified by reporters, threatened by a political operative, fired by his company, and now he's broke.

"He (John Kerry) nearly got us rammed by the VC one night because he wasn't watching the helm. I heard the motor coming close, turned on the spotlight, and the boat was only 90 feet away, coming fast. The VC was aiming an AK47 at us. I shot him out of the boat. We pulled a woman and a baby off the boat. Kerry wrote it up that we captured two VC and killed four more on the beach. None of that was true. The only thing true on Kerry's report was the date. The woman was catatonic and wouldn't call her baby VC and there were no VC on the beach. If we had seen that report before Kerry sent it up the chain of command, he would have been court-martialed and never allowed to run for office. And that's just the San Pan incident."

true. I forgot about age. But I think you have to be older than 50 to be protected

Gardner has to be over 50 years old if he served in Vietnam in 1968.

This person should contact a good lawyer with a record of experience in this area -- possibly, he should start with the head of the Swift Boat vets group, who is himself a lawyer.

Gardner explains he was sitting at home in Clover, S.C...

He sounds like he's in Congressman Billybob's neck of the woods.
