Overall, Bush lost by about 130,000, slightly less than Michigan's 150,000(Bush did 13% better in Philly than Detroit).
Delaware County was a disaster. So was Montgomery County. I figured Chester would be better as well.

I would still like a chance to look at the Detroit ballots before they were counted and after they were counted.

Don't count out the high voter fraud in Philly. The GOP has got to deal with this in the next election.

I suspect there was some shenanigans there. There was some in Detroit as well.

I counted 54 counties for BUSH
and only 13 counties for KERRY
We really should push for a COUNTY electoral College
rather than a STATE electoral College.
With 2300 for Bush vs. 600 for Kerry - there would be no nail biting and recounts would be much easier to undertake.
To: highflight
We have 83 counties in Michigan. 70 went for Bush.

I think you should.
Why didn't Republican poll watchers videotape this s**t?

Vote fraud wasn't the difference. Montco & Delco are controlled by the GOP.

The Inquirer still has clout. They came out against Bush more than any other paper in the country except for maybe the NTY.

Simply putting Pennsylvania on the same system as is used in Maine and Nebraska (one EV per congressional district, two for the state) would be the equivalent of tossing a live hand grenade into DNC planning.
Republican have the votes in the legislature, if they have the balls. Leave all the Liberal Philadelphia suburbs, the rust belt counties around and including Pittsburgh in the totals, but exclude Philadelphia only and Pennsylvania is carried by Bush with 52.36% of the vote.

You just need to cut down on the number of dead Democrats you have voting. It gives "cold one" a different meaning.

I would assume that the rural counties would have gone for W. And due to the last 20-30 year steel mill shutdowns in PA, they went for sKerry. Is that and accurate assessment?

If not for Philadelphia, a 130,000 vote loss is converted into a 270,000 vote victory for Bush. The GOP needs to do some serious work in Philadelphia if they ever want to win PA again. Either that or find some way to make Philadelphia part of New Jersey.

Same thing here.
Take out Detroit City(leaving rest of Wayne County which went 54-55% Kerry)
Bush 50.83% - wins by 120,000
Gore 48.15%
Take out Wayne County completely
Bush 51.10% -wins by +175,000
Kerry 47.94%

Who are you harping to? I've written letters to C. Miller and some RNC people, so far without response. I had a few other issues with the Kent County organization as well, though my letters were in the spirit of continued improvement not criticism.

Whoa ... Bucks County went for Kerry ... no wonder I saw so many Kerry signs there. My parents who live there were horrified at Kerry signs.

And amazingly more and more people are calling for voting
via the internet. I am no internet genius, not by any stretch, but I can think of at least a
dozen ways to defraud the process!
