Included in the newsprint version of this column is Mr. Steinback's e-mail address, and since he expressed a genuine interest in learning why "Red" America voiced an opinion different from his own, I thought I might send him the link to this thread.
If any of you ladies and/or gents think this would be a bad idea, let me know why and I won't. Otherwise, I'm planning to send it tomorrow afternoon.
Hey, I agree with you -- I was just quoting the author and pointing out the reductio ad absurdum.
