All day the King County elections webpage has read

RECOUNT RESULTS
(Posted by 3:30 p.m. today)

That just changed to:

(Posted at 12:30 p.m. today)

We will soon know if Gregoire managed to steal it.

King County has been manufacturing Dem votes like crazy. First they came up with 11,000 ballots during the initial count. Then today, King County produced an additional 941 ballots in the recount (after first saying the no. of ballots was 500, then 710). The Dems will do anything to win this race. It's going to get worse from here. It will be FL 2000 all over again as King County will now manually recount nearly 900,000 ballots.

Slight correction: King County actually produced more than 1,000 additional ballots (2 x orig. est.). The 941 ballots referred to in comment above is the total for Rossi and Gregoire.

Now THAT'S how you attempt to steal an election! The republican leading by over 2,000 votes and claim that 4,000 missing votes in CONSERVATIVE Cabarrus County hurts the Democrat!! Unreal.

I disagree with you, if the votes can't be recovered it is lunacy to call the winner because the problem is in a conservative county. I'd be hostile if the Dims tried to call an election based on suppositions about who won, common sense should prevail.

I'm going to make another unpopular observation. If Rossi were trailing by 42 he would have and should have demanded a hand recount, I'd have been furious if he hadn't. Try to keep some perspective here.

I completely agree. We'd demand a hand recount if the situations were reversed.

The priority now is to do our darnedest to prevent fraud during the inevitable hand recount.

That is wrong. Rossi won. Media found out the vote count from Kitsap.

Yeah -I just rechecked the chart and there's NO Kitsap - don't know what's going on...

Nothing's going on, they just haven't reported yet. Should report within half an hour or so.

Do you know the original Kitsap differential?

Yes, and I've posted it several times :)

Current Gregoire margin: 1,487
Rossi lead in Kitsap on election day: 1,563
Unofficial Kitsap swing: +34 Gregoire
New Rossi lead in Kitsap: 1,529

Rossi lead including Kitsap: 42
