"Fahrenheit 9/11 and 3/4."

Michael: Did you really understand fractions in school? Something makes me doubt it. Because the trash you publish just does not add up.

The College Republicans at Salisbury U showed Fahrenhype, AFTER the election. They were blocked by campus red tape from showing it sooner. Whereas, the reds on campus squeezed in an illicit showing of fatso's propaganda, getting around bureaucracy that way. Typical of lefties to lie and cheat. But, thank God, the greasy phony lost anyway.

If any of you want to watch a genuine documentary, you should take a look at Spellbound.

Maybe this is just hyperbole on my part, but that documentary was one of the most entertaining, interesting movies that I've watched over the past five years.

Saw it. I'm a big fan of documentaries and I thought Spellbound was great. I would never classify Farenheit 9/11 as a documentary at all.

Another great doc- Voices From Iraq. Rent it from Netflix.

Was that the documentary that was distributed with the help of the Heritage Foundation?

I remember that film getting a lot of play on FR at the time of its release. I even think that a few of the subjects were interviewed by talk show hosts on WABC.

I'm not sure, Voices from Iraq is the documentary where 150 Iraqis were given video cameras. I didn't see any Westerners in the film- so I doubt they were interviewed on WABC....

Okay, now I know what you're referring to!

Sorry for the confusion on my part.

They are showing that film in some limited engagements in my city, mostly in indie/art-house type of theaters up in Soho, Tribeca, etc., but it may also be in a few chains.

Hopefully, it'll still be around by Christmas.

"this piece of crap movie?"

What do yo mean, it's a GOOD movie. You watch, he's gonna get a special "Best Picture Ever Made, Or Ever Will Be Made, Anywhere In The Universe and Probably Some Parallel Universes, Too" award at the Oscars. That PROVES it's a good movie.

/sarcasm

Our version was called Fahrenheit 11/2. It was fun flipping around the channels on election night and seeing the coverage of the Kerry rally in Boston--everyone was giddy at first, then slowly the results started coming in...

"It's pretty subdued here in Copley Square. They're in between bands, there isn't a speaker on the stage, and the Kerry supporters here are stunned and silent as the sea of red states continues across the nation..."

Boston (CNSNews.com) - As President George Bush edged closer to the 270 electoral votes necessary to secure re-election, supporters of Democratic nominee John Kerry openly wept and consoled each other at the Election Night celebration in Boston's Copley Square.
Some Kerry supporters called Bush's platform "all lies" and heckled a group of College Republicans who were passing through the crowd.
A distraught woman confronted Democratic U.S. Rep. Harold Ford in the lobby of the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel and screamed, "Can you tell me why everybody made a mistake?" Ford responded, "Let me talk to the candidate before I make a comment. It's been a long day."
Another woman standing near Ford began to openly weep at the prospect of a Kerry loss.
Former California Democratic governor Gray Davis spoke briefly with Ford and then essentially conceded the election to Bush and looked ahead to 2008.

THE FEEL GOOD HIT OF THE ELECTION: FAHRENHEIT 11/2

Really! TBWP was a *masterpiece*. Andy Warthole would have *killed* himself in frustration if he'd seen it - it was the film he'd been trying to make for his entire life, but was just too "Gay" to figure it out.

Nothing that blubber-blob Moore could even imagine, is in a class with TBWP. (but then again, that's not saying anything, really...)

Not to confuse the issue, but Moore will be at a very small bookstore in Malibu (Diesel bookstore at Cross Creek Road) at 4PM tomorrow. Don't know that the opportunity will be any better/worse than the Creative Screenwriting event, but figured I'd throw it out. Might want to call them at 310-456-9961 to confirm.

Could they really get MM into an average size theater seat?
Maybe a big loveseat or a small couch.
They could rip out a front bench seat from an Oldsmobile!
