Ok, I am going to give this HTML stuff a try. Here's an italicized block quote:
When you find a post that has a feature you like, right click the entire page and select view source from the commands available.
Then I want to start another paragraph after this sentence.
And this should be it. (Ok, it's late so it's a short paragraph!)
The thing that doesn't seem to work is posting images. Wait a minute, I see an extra apostrophe " ' " in the post I was using as an example - let me take it out and use:
< img src="http://www.jeffhead.com/redseadragon/USN-CVNEnterprise-1.jpg" > without the spaces, to produce:
![](http://www.jeffhead.com/redseadragon/USN-CVNEnterprise-1.jpg)
Wahoo!!! Now I don't get the little red X in the preview!!
So, now my only question is, do I need to use < /p > at the end of a post, if I have used < p > further up? Using < /p > doesn't seem to hurt -- I think?

(This is my tag line. There are many like it, but this one is mine.)

Don’t need to use the < /P > tag.

Sorry this took so long Rastus. On the phone with a sister...
I think if you go to the bottom of the page where you can see [configure sidebar] at the lower right. Click on that so that a page called "Manage Blocks" comes up. Go to the section called "Top". There you will see "Locale Message" and to its right a menu tab. Click the menu tab arrow and select "disabled" and see if this might do it for you.
Hope this helped.

No need to apologize. I know you just do this to help in your spare time.
I didn’t even know about the Configure Sidebar link, but it looks like there’s some good stuff there. And, I was able to disable the Locale Message!
Thanks!

Or try disabling “Announcements” the same way. Might be sad to say that no more of those than I get on the Kansas link it has never been an issue.

HTML bores me ever since they took out the tag. The tag still works in the Opera browser.
