Mike Wallace once said that if he knew that the enemy was over the next hill, he would NOT tell OUR gys!!!! He said he's a "journalist" first! DISGUSTING POS.

The "Rules of Engagement" need to be precise.

"Find a Terrorist, Kill a Terrorist!"

We are paid to kill the enemy.

If you want someone to "make nice" with these monsters,
you've sent the wrong guys!

Ever since the video I keep expecting the headline:

"Another insurgent killed by a Marine!"

Of course, the legacy media doesn't care, they are only out to get ratings and boost their careers. May they reap what they sow.

The incident of the marine shooting the insurgent who was playing dead is constantly being referred to in the media as the marine shooting a "wounded Iraqi"

Do we know whether the insurgent was actually wounded? What exactly were his wounds? Are we sure he was an Iraqi and not a foreign fighter?

I'm just curious, I haven't heard any details about this yet.

Why even have camera crews following the marines around? This is just asking for trouble.

War is hell, and one has to make split second decision between life or death.

What on earth makes you think they made it up?

Ollie North reported several similar incidents occurred BEFORE the videotaped shooting.

And here is another one -- the result: two dead Marines. Do you think the Marines are just faking dead?

Fallujah attacks expose new risks

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1285557/posts

FALLUJAH, IRAQ - The white flag may be an international symbol of surrender, but in Fallujah it has become another tool of guerrilla war.

US marines on a foot patrol this weekend paid little attention to a man walking along the road and holding a white flag - a common sight as the conflict dies down and civilians pop up to scavenge for food and water.

But this time, US officers say, as the marines came by, the man dipped into an alley, returned with an AK-47 assault rifle, and sprayed the marines with bullets. Two Americans died, and others were wounded.

In a separate incident, marines were lured into an well-coordinated ambush by men with white flags who appeared to signal that they needed help. When marines got close, gunmen began firing from buildings high above.

Actually, the troops should take their "embed", tell him "hey, look over here" and send him right in.

A few reporters get killed that way and they'll quit reporting negative stuff.

Those kind of journalists should be first over that hill.

Kevin Sites may have inspired this terroist into thinking I have the MSM covering my back now.

Watching that video, I thought that Marine didn't have to defend his actions at all. After all, this is a war, right? Now after reading Ollie Norths comments, I'm so furious! Who needs terrorist leaders? The MSM propagandist does the job for them?

The MSM would rather see ten dead marines, than one dead or even slightly inconvenienced terrorists.

I think our soldiers should never take any chances. Kill the terrorists first, ask questions later.

-- excactly what does this remark mean? Are you suggesting that the military routinely makes things up??

Where did you get "routinely?" Did I type "routinely?" I said, GOOD FOR THEM.....even if they made it up.

I DID NOT suggest that any of this is routine.

End of story.

The previous Marine being pilloried by Kevin Sites did what he should have done. He did what he had to do. If that first "insurgent" had in fact had a grenade, there would be no questions, and all would've moved on.

If another platoon came across a similar situation, or even if they made up or enhanced a situation to make it obvious to folks that their brother had done the right thing, THEN GOOD FOR THEM. Whether it really happened this way, I don't care. I'm proud of them. If you don't like it, take a leap.
