one shudders at what the Germans will do once the breaking point is reached there.

My guess is that they will miss the Kyoto treaty's guidelines because of all the smoke going up the chimneys.

The Europeans for the most part don't have guns and can't possibly make Muslim blood flow.

Gun Culture In Some European Countries Rivals That of US

I always find it intriguing how many people are willing to comment at length about Europe despite little apparent knowledge about it. Usually it consists of extrapolations from our own leftiest leftists and little more.

I beg your pardon. I have travelled extensively in both Eastern and Western Europe, have a number of close friends there, have many relatives there, and read the major European news sources, so I am not speaking without some knowledge. Thank you for this link, though; I always like to learn more.

Yes, I'm sorry for that comment. It was rude. I was just in an unpleasant mood when I wrote that and it wasn't even really directed at you so much as at some other things I'd read that were annoying me.

All's forgiven. How rare it is on FR to receive a simple explanation and apology, and I appreciate it.

Hmm, I would have thought that with their history the Poles would know better than to surrender their arms to the leftist.

They remember varied mass atrocities, but forget that arms held by citizens are the only real assurance that they will not happen again?

I guess NOW I understand where the basis for Polish jokes comes from!
