What do Freepers think about Prince William?
I think he turned out a lot better than his brother.

Not sure about the brother, but certainly better than both Mom and Pop. I generally find him likable.

What is so bad about Harry? He smoked dope once?

What do Freepers think about Prince William? I don't care much for "royalty," but William seems like an okay sort. The kind of guy you could have a beer with, as it were.
I think he turned out a lot better than his brother.
What's his brother's name? Harry? What's the story there?

William is the older brother, Harry the younger.

I think his brother will be fine. Saw him on Primetime Live and he seems quite down-to-earth.

I think he turned out a lot better than his brother. Harry is actually turning around. He is very much like his mother and loves to help people in need.

Since Harry is in the spotlight, it is easy to point to his actions (which are typical of many young men his age) as signaling that he is a "bad seed." Plenty of young adults experiment with various behaviors, and then mature after seeing that the lifestyle of partying and irresponsibility are not all that they're made out to be.

The entire rational for the monarchy and the aristocracy to begin with was that they were supposed to be an hereditary field officer corps for the nation.
The traditional aristocratic pastimes of hunting and riding and fencing had a very practical purpose.
If the Prince serves, he will be doing what he is literally born to do.

"The last thing I want to do is be mollycoddled or wrapped up in cotton wool," the 22-year-old said. What's "cotton wool"? Is it cotton or is it wool?

Cotton. It's what the Brits call cotton balls.

"It should never be forgotten what all the war veterans have sacrificed for all of us to be as we are."
He expressed admiration for the British soldiers who were currently in action "fighting their hearts out". Sounds like he is a patriot

Who was the last British monarch to actually command in battle? Was it Henry V?
