Completely disgusting. As Rush said yesterday...the Dixiecrats of old are alive and well in the mainstream and leftist media of 2004. Where is the moral outrage from the ACLU, NAA(L)CP, Jessie Jackson and the rest of the "voices" of the black community over the treatment of this highly competent black woman?
Oh yeah I forgot...she's not a Lib like they are.
To our conservative friends in London...how do you folks put up with garbage like this?

Perhaps they should change their name to "The Funhouse Mirror" since they reflect reality about as accurately.

Rice was an Alabama cotton farmer's daughter who became an accomplished pianist and ice-skater before graduating from college at 19.How dare they??? Her father was not a cotton farmer. Her father was a Presbyterian minister, a dean at Stillman College and later he became the Vice Chancellor of the University of Denver.

I think her GRANDfather was a cotton farmer.

When does the invasion of Europe start?
To: SilentServiceCPOWife
How dare they, indeed. They call her a "monkey".

Yeah but why let a little thing like THE FACTS get in the way of a good hit piece on conservatives.

President Bush is not a hardline right-winger.

I was under the impression that Oprah Winfrey was the World's Most Powerful Woman.
Guess I was wrong.

Avoid it.
Nothing else one can do. Read the Telegraph it's the only one worth any time at all.

"I think they're actually calling the president a monkey."
I got the impression they were referring to Dr. Rice as a monkey.

In the case of George W Bush, almost everything he knows about foreign policy has been learnt from Condoleezza Rice. Learnt? If this idiot can't even spell, how can anything else he writes be of use?

No, they were talking about Bush as the monkey and Condi as 'his' trainer.

And where do I enlist?<'/i> I don't know. But the way Europeans fear us, you would think it was us who tried to rule the world and started all the world wars. Maybe we should give Europe a real reason to fear us.
