That should be "has anyone here heard anything..." By the way, as a result of this possible incident, I went looking to see if Annie Jacobsen had written anything recently. Here's an article from November 16 if anyone is interested.

Just caught up. TM has been busy. Thanks folks for the research and information.

Still settling into my new place. Now I don't have to worry about all the small planes that would fly over the old place; however, there are trains tracks that are only 1/4 mile from my new place. I'd rather deal with a train derailment than a plane falling on my house - more reaction time. I still keep a 'grab-and go' kit by the front door.

Things seem quiet in Reston today. Weather is dismal at best - rain & fog.

Thanks for the bump.

Your articles about the LaSalle bank fire and Salah's account are very troubling. Could this be mere coincidence?

I heard last night there were plumbers working in the area where the fire started.

Anyone to testify?? Maybe just payback!!

Could it be coincidence?

Sure. :-) That's why I first applied the tin-foil.

I didn't hear about the plumbers, but I did hear a witness report of an huge explosion and ball of fire.

Nice digging, Velveeta. I was going nuts last night trying to figure out what offices were on the affected floors, particularly in terms of evidence that could be destroyed. Consdiering the size of the banks involved, I was leaning toward Oil for Food stuff, but didn't find diddly.

Yours is definitely interesting.

I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a crash building in the US market due to the dollar soon.

Side note:The only think that really keeps the one world government from occurring is the different currencies that are around the world. If the USD and all other currencies crash together, it would be a perfect time for one single world currency to be formed and used.

I keep diggin for a logical reason to remove this tin-foil. How does this grab you?

The wife of the bank's chief executive said construction work was being done on the 29th floor, home to the bank's trust division. It was too early to say exactly how, when and where the fire started, though at least one witness had relayed to authorities that it may have ignited in or near a gift basket or baskets, sources said.

Another thought...I wonder if the big sell-off of Oil that happened a couple of days ago was not due to a mild winter, but to American traders pulling out of Oil because of the dollar situation with OPEC...

First rule of troubleshooting is to ask if any work has been done on the equipment recently. I think that can apply to a fire investigation as well. The combination of chemicals, hot work, faulty tools or cables, poor housekeeping practices, and so on, make a fire much more likely.

With that in mind, I'm betting the cause will be traced to a hastily rigged extension cord that shorted out, a spark from some kind of metal cutting or grinding tool that smoldered before flaring up, or a portable heater that was left on.

Anybody know if gas ran up to the 29th floor of this building?

Well this would be the way to sell the "one world currency" to the U.S. Those countries in the shadows like Russia, China, France, et. al. must be loving this.

I think that it may be time for the U.S. to stop protecting the Saudi's and their oil, and unleash any "hydrogen" technology that we have at hand to get away from OPEC. This is not tinfoil stuff....from what I am hearing it is just a matter of time...and getting the proper paperwork, and patents in place by the major corporations.

The U.S. as a whole as a consumer, a producer of techonology, and as a buyer...problems with the dollar would create big problems for the euro and the euroweenies as well. I just think that they have already formed their cabal to undermine our economy, possibly without pondering the net results.

I didn't like the info. early in Nov. about Cuba not using the dollar, the selling off of U.S. bonds by eurpoean countries, and this is just one more sign of what may be coming down the pike.
