I predict 15-30 for Rossi. But we have to go to Court in any case. Dem-rats plan to "regain" ground "by" a recount.

The elections office stuff was pretty bizarre - reconstructing and enhancing ballots. Sure wish the RNC has provided a bit of training on what to look for and what to do.

Actually the counting is pretty dull too. They just run the ballots through the big machine. I did 8 hours on election day.

Heh, well it's not intended to be entertainment, just a good replacement for flipping a coin. But on the other hand, imagine if each candidate got a number of chips equal to the number of votes they received, and had to play Texas Hold'Em until there was only one person left. Now that's election reform I could get behind!

I think they should have a Star Trek Pon Farr battle. Complete with music.

I sent a couple of long emails to Robin, Jon, and Bridget saying pretty much the same thing.

Dude, that spreadsheet is freakin' awesome! http://www.murdoconline.net/archives/001729.html

Somebody's going to have to do this sort of thing for every election. Dino down by 28, 5781 left to count.

I'm listening to KVI 570 (conservative talk radio). The SOS - Sam Reed is going to be on live at about 5:30 (they're talking about a new tent city now).
They have live streaming if anyone wants to listen - kvi.com

Here is the "tie vote" statute:

If the requisite number of any federal, state, county, city, district, or precinct officers have not been elected by reason of two or more persons having an equal and highest number of votes for one and the same office, the official empowered by state law to issue the original certificate of election shall give notice to the several persons so having the highest and equal number of votes to attend at the appropriate office at the time to be appointed by that official, who shall then and there proceed publicly to decide by lot which of those persons will be declared duly elected, and the official shall make out and deliver to the person thus duly declared elected a certificate of election.

RCW 29A.60.221(2).

dino is down by 28. but only 2,471 approx ballots left to count. 1221 in grays harbor (it was almost exactly split between the two). 750 in benton county (68% for rossi), 250 in franklin county (67% so far for rossi), 250 in whiteman county (53% for rossi)...

so assuming they get these counted we should be good.

All ties should be decided by a duel.

Lets make it gender neutral ... arm wrestling.

IF the percentages in the remaining 4 counties mirror the Percentages so far, Rossi should win by around 300. The Hand Recount trigger is 150, so it should just be a machine recount.
