Exactly.
The problem with all of these studies of children raised by gay parents is that nearly all of the researchers who have conducted them have been homosexual themselves, and the issue of bias which would inevitabilty be brought up had the researchers been heterosexual and/or culturally conservative is never addressed.
For examples, read through the following replies in Scripter's Homosexual Agenda: Categorical Index of Links (Revision 1.1) thread:
Reply 272: An excerpt from "Are children of gay parents worse off?"
Reply 283: An excerpt from "Professional Pediatrics Group Discourages Gay Parenting"
Reply 284: "Documenting the pro-homosexual activism in the American Academy of Pediatrics"
There is a mine of information here on FR, and anyone who persists in remaining ill-informed about the real nature of homosexuality and its agenda will continue to get hassled by ME!
Thanks, EdReform!
Most excellent job of "outing" Prof. Patterson... She's been pushing these studies of lesbian mothers, studies with microscopic sample sizes, and making a living giving "expert" testimony in custody cases, right along. Of course the press gives her credibility.
Ditto! Excellent documentation, Dave.
Another such pro-homosexual parenting researcher is Ellen Perrin - see the documentation posted in reply 284 in Scripter's Homosexual Agenda: Categorical Index of Links (Revision 1.1) thread.
and besides.....most kids or adults will go out of there way to appear "normal" when they are in an unfathomable position.....
not that I think that two women couldn't do a good job of raising, say dtrs only, but it really depends on what kind of homosexuals they are....
some homosexuals are very "out there" if you know what I mean...
I think others can live quietly....
You're welcome! I will be adding more documentation as time permits.
That's hillarious. (But sadly, probably true in many cases)
This sounds like a contrived study to counter the New Zeland study which found that children of lesbians hand serious mental problems.
Just from the article the concept of "divorced" lesbians does not exist at law other than in Mass.
More homsexual propaganda.
are we sure it was born a "she"? looks like a man with bad makeup...
More homsexual propaganda.
Indeed. It never ends.
Bump for later read.
Bump! Good to see you, ArGee!
What I would like to see is the comparison to children whose mothers and fathers are married to each other. There are lots of interesting demographic breakdowns that should also be studied.
The key is, since we can no longer assume a predominance of families where the mother and father are both on their first marriage, or where the first marriage was ended by death, any kind of arrangement would yield kids that match the "norm."
Shalom.
Actually, I think our pop-culture has proven that it is. Now that we have mass-marketing of beauty, the attractiveness of various body types changes with what's put on the covers of magazines. For a time the Twiggy look was in and very sexy. Playboy reminded us of the value of a C-cup.
It's no different to learn to be attracted to a member of the same sex. That's what makes human beings so unique in the mammal world - we have very few instincts.
Shalom.
I would think you have at least as much right to be homophobic, intolerant, or discriminatory as someone else has to be homosexual, wouldn't you? I mean, it's not like you CHOSE to be that way. You were BORN that way, right?
Shalom.
Make that 6,000 years.
Shalom.
Boy, that's one big "If."
I would guess if I had been raised from birth by a sow, I would think the pig pen was a pretty cool place.
How long have you known this very good friend, before or only after he had lesbian parents?
I agree..
