Translation: Sen. Specter will be threatening the Republican membership in private before going NUCLEAR after they rebuke his Chairmanship

I have been wondering what he 'has' and who he 'has it on' for the closing of ranks and deferrence he has been shown. It is certainly not his bright and happy personality that is endearing him to his fellow Senators. Just my two cents...

I suspect he's playing his best poker hand and he's brought ALL of his dirty poker chips to the table......this is it for him and he knows it.

I hope they threaten him back with "Go ahead and do what you have too....it will only prove that these people were right about you in the end and that we made the right choice in denying you the Chairmanship".......Then they should bring in the boxes and boxes of e-mails and phone call memos threatening to vote each one of them out of office if they vote for him.

Don't you just love survival of the fittest...................

Specter will get the chairmanship.

The obsessively involved Freepers will go apesh*t in an anti-GOP pique.

Are you referring to the 95% of FReepers who voted against (R)len in the recent FR poll, Arne?

I'm sorry if my choice of music offends you Michael Bolton/Yani fans.

an undermining of the powers of the president and an extension of legislative tentacles into the judiciary

Now just imagine the opposite, Hillary is Prez, now would you doubt the framer's genius?

His whole career has been a general #@&*^$!
I oppose everything he stands for. It is not just pro-life, it is the whole gammut(sp) of his life!
