John Kerry, much like the Clintons, despises the military. The Clintons showed their disdain throughout Slick Willie's term as Cmmander-In-Chief. Kerry uses his 'military service', brief as it was, only when he wants people to think he is someone he is not.

Thank God for the brave men and women fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan. They are all heroes to many of us.

I hope that all Americans will learn the truth about the Vietnam-era. I hope we never let anyone do to our heroes what Kerry did to his former comrades. November 2 was a good sign that people are starting to understand that Massachusetts is not like the rest of the country. Kerry appeals to people in that state, but his politics did not play well in the real world.

My husband and I watched Fog of War with McNamara on Showtime I think the other night. Fog of War won an oscar too I believe... anyhoo... The only question I have is why would Kennedy choose McNamara for Def Secty? A man with no military experience and a CEO for three months with Ford Motor Co? No wonder we lost. I actually found I had sympathy for Johnson.
