The UN is looking more and more like the barroom scene from Star Wars. It is a vast collection of representatives of thugs, mugs, tin-horn dictators, communists, and socialists - ALL with their hands in our back pocket looking for the next handout.

"I have tried to be as helpful as possible, and I have stated at every opportunity that the stabilization of Iraq is everyone's responsibility," Mr. Annan said. "I have argued that regardless of one's position on the war, we must all come together to stabilize Iraq."

The media reports what he says...reality reports what he actually does. So far, Annan is an obstruction to Peace and Freedom.

I'm with you.

Let's see, how many wars did the UN prevent?
How many did the League of Nations?

How much has it cost US over the years?

One resolution might be an oil embargo. China & Russia are within marching distance to the Middle East.

No US in League of Nations allowed Germany, Italy & Japan to expand their power base.

The ONLY thing that gives the UN any authority in its' resolutions now is US military might. Without us, they have no teeth. And for any other military to step into that vacuum would place them in opposition to us should we get out of the UN.

Do you see any takers for that position on this planet right now? I didn't think so.

Russia, China, the EU, none of them have the ability to project power on any scale outside of their borders. The US is the ONLY nation on Earth who has military transport of any scale whatsoever. We're in the driver's seat - let's go somewhere. Without the UN parasites.

It is painful to even think about. No one seems to want to acknowledge how the world has changed since WW2. Once respectable governments, who clearly cared about the world situation, ARE NOW GONE. The U.S. is almost an entire loner now...with a few exceptions. It is fortunate that we have the power and resources to go it alone, if we have to. Let the dogs have their day. But get the U.N. and its criminals and thugs out of the U.S. for good -- we don't need them, they are our enemy, and the cost to us is just too high --- so I call for no more pandering to this country club of thieves and it is time for Washington to wise up and stand up to what the U.N. has become.

Get out now -- and throw them out.

Well one would think that if the U.N. had any interest in being a world-representative body with any form of meaning and relavancy, it would respect, AT LEAST, THE ONE MEMBER THAT IS THE FORCE THAT GETS IT DONE!!!!

But they don't. Being logical, one must think that their purpose is now something very different. Who is kidding who -- anyone who bites the hand that feeds it, should suffer. There are no free lunches.

Don't believe in the disinformation about Russian & Chinese armed forces. Both countries have modern, well equipped military and could move large armies into the Middle East, Asia & Europe. The US population, fueled by the MSM, also has an adverse reaction to war casualties. To the Russians or Chinese a loss of 50,000, 100,000, 250,000 soldiers is a drop in the bucket.

The Liberal Dutch Courts. This was in a Dutch newspaper. A link was provided here in the posting on FR. If you type in Van Gogh, I'm sure the posting with the link will come up.

William H. Luers, president of the United Nations Association of the United States, acknowledged concern among the organization's backers.

What a coincidence, Paul Volcker is on the board of directors United Nations Association of the United States, an organization which demands on-time payment of UN and UNESCO dues by the United States.
