From earlier posting today "But residents said the U.S-led offensive opened strains between the local insurgents and the foreigners. When a senior Zarqawi commander was found dead of a bullet to the head during the battle, many interpreted his death as the result of an insurgent execution."

"Besides the commander's death, the bodies of 20 foreign fighters also were found shot to death execution-style, military officials said."

Appears Iraqi insurgents are turning on their foreign Islamic guest. May they destroy each other to the last terrorist.

"We didn't want the occupation and we didn't want the terrorists, and now we have both," said a Fallujah construction worker who gave his name as only Abu Ehab, 30. "I didn't think the Arabs would be so vicious, and I never thought the Americans would be so unmerciful."

The first "fire bomb" raid was on Kobe on February 3 and following relative success the AAF continued the tactic. Much of the armor and the defensive weapons of the bombers were also removed to allowed increased bomb loads, Japanese air defense in terms of night-fighters and anti-aircraft guns was so feeble it was hardly a risk. The first such raid on Tokyo was on the night of February 23-24 when 174 B-29s destroyed around one square mile of the city. Following on that sad success 334 B-29s raided on the night of March 9-10, dropping around 1,700 tons of bombs. Around 16 square miles of the city were destroyed and over 100,000 people are estimated to have died in the "fire storm". It was the most destructive conventional raid of the war against Japan. In the following two weeks there were almost 1,600 further sorties against the four cities, destroying 31 square miles in total at a cost of only 22 aircraft. There was a third raid on Tokyo on May 26.

Apparently the man doesent have a remote idea of how unmerciful we can get.
If anything I think we are cutting them more slack than they deserve.

And six feet deep.

The Bush administration has faced criticism that it overstated the presence of foreign fighters in Fallujah to justify a prolonged occupation of Iraq, minimize Iraqi resentment of the American presence in Iraq and tie its war in Iraq to its battle against Osama bin Laden's al-Qaida organization.

Or alternately the administration has been criticized for creating a haven for foreign terrorists in Iraq. The MSM likes to have both sides of an issue so when one is proven false they can still be critical from the other side.

---"When the Marines stepped back in April, the foreigners grew stronger, so they persuaded their friends to come and help them hold the victory," said Ali Jarallah, 32, a Fallujah resident now living in a cramped camp with other displaced locals.

Wow. I didn't realize our phyops were working that well. The troop pull back bred too much confidence in the terrorists that they call in more buddies to come help. Now we are eliminating them.

"...I never thought the Americans would be so unmerciful."

Abu Ehab, what you are witnessing is merciful. We are sacrificing our sons for your freedom.

Tell your islamorafascist friends that even the merciful can be pushed too far. Read your history books...

This guy hasn't even seen unmerciful. If we wanted to do that, we would send all of our goofy liberals his way. But we don't hate them that much yet.

their humble stand against foreign occupation

Their humble stand ?????

Their humble stand consisted of blowing up police stations, and convoys, and slaughtering innocent motorists.

Some humble stand.

Yes, all our Presidents are not like Clinton. You got one who does not take well to attacks on this country.
