"We didn't want the occupation and we didn't want the terrorists, and now we have both," said a Fallujah construction worker who gave his name as only Abu Ehab, 30. "I didn't think the Arabs would be so vicious, and I never thought the Americans would be so unmerciful."

Bush Doctrine: If you offer aid or shelter to terrorists, you are a terrorist.

We need to salt old Fallujie when we're done, don't we? I suggest we build them a new town and let Fallujah go to hell.

>>My prediction: Within 20 years, Iraq will treat the U.S. the way France currently does.<<

Or the Democrats, still holding Jane Fonda up to admire.

Yes, all our Presidents are not like Clinton. You got one who does not take well to attacks on this country.

Just got back to this thread on Sat. afternoon. Thanks for the info and links. I had searched over an hour yesterday on web looking for news of Abdullah Janabi and Omar Hadid before I posted the article. Nothing came up except the article that I posted.

Was glad to hear Janabi is dead. That Zarqawi lieutenant found dead with the bullet behind his ear couldn't have been Hadid (because as you wrote, he was a Fallujan. I wonder how the Marines and US Intelligence is able to identify these guys, supposedly they're even leaving their black pajamas behind.

Thank you for the quote, it serves as not a logical reason for why we are there, but as a most definite reminder to us and the whole world, of our (the U.S.'s) resolve. Thanks again.

Excellent observation. I had forgotten myself about the four contractors burned and hung from the bridge while the citizens of Fallujah danced in the streets. The "horrendous drubbing" (your words) is precisely well deserved.

And as for Americans being "unmerciful" where was the Fallujahian mercy for the four contractors?

Saturday around 4:15 PM EST someone posted this link
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&e=1&u=/ap/20041113/ap_on_re_mi_ea/iraq

The article says Abdullah Janabi escaped Fallujah and is not dead. I was very sorry to read this.
