Support the United Nations, at least until you don't have that option anymore.

Thank your legislators in Congress and the Senate for supporting this idea to control the free flow of information.

This is beyond incredible. OK, America, wake up. Start insisting to your elected officials that the U.N. BE THROWN OUT OF THE USA!!! These whackos now are CLEARLY making a move to control world communications...a rose by any other name.

This impotent and irrelevant body, unable to carry out their own mandates and resolutions, is now trying the back door approach to somehow "legitimize" their existence. What else can they try and do??? These maggots, most of which are AGAINST THE FREE WORLD, cannot handle the fact that open communications is going to bury them!! They are trying now TO SUPPRESS FREE INTERNET COMMUNICATIONS. How transparent can these despots, communists, dictators, and other bottom-feeders, be ???

U.N. BE THROWN OUT OF THE USA

I support that 100%. We should all (US citizens and others) demand that our tax money be withheld from this wasteful and dangerous organization.

This whole idea of the U.N. trying to set itself up to "manage" the Internet...the timing is just too coincidental to be coincidental....some may disagree but, I SMELL THE NAME CLINTON ALL OVER THIS MOVE.....

We come into this process as facilitators, and will strive to establish a dialogue of good faith among all participants.”

Based on recent anecdotal evidence of my being in the minority on a 16 person committe.

Facilitator= person with an agenda who makes sure the group goes along with that agenda. - Tom

dont we already pay taxes to the UN? they get American money which comes from us taxpayers. there is no point in continuing with this organization in the hopes that someday it will do something useful.

What's to govern? The underseas cables are already under international regulation, and within the countries it's either government property or private. The UN really, really needs to drink a giant cup of butt the hell out.

-- Juan Fernandez, Coordinator, Commission of Electronic Commerce, Cuba.

He must be an expert.

Why is there only 1 American?

The UN has already screwed up everything it gets involved with. Spam, adware, spyware, and viruses are nothing compared to what the UN would do to the internet.

That is what most prople hope for, so they find no need to call their Reps. and express their feeling about why this idea should follow the Titanic.

Sit back and watch America go down hill, something too many folks are comfortable doing.

global shakedown alert.

...of course, the protection of the internet given by the un will have to be paid for: a world tax.

what jesse jackson does on a local scale, kofi does on a global scale.

You must not be politically correct or you would have recognized the errors in your thinking! Did you thank the Facilitator for showing you the errors in your independant thinking?

Max Lerner The Seven Deadly Sins of the Press: - Concentrated Power of the Big Press. - Passing of competition and the coming of monopoly. - Governmental control of the press. - Timidity, especially in the face of group and corporate pressures. - Big Business mentality. - Clannishness among the newspaper publishers that has prevented them from criticizing each other. - Social blindness.
