moore's beef was that saving private ryan was pre-empted by some abc stations, and intead of airing a WWII movie on veterans day, some statios ran 'return to mayburry' eps. the reason abc did this was they were afraid of the airing the f word/FCC fines, here read this;

As I am still trying to see the analogy between Don Knott's characterization of the bumbling deputy sheriff Barney Fife and the the most lethal fighting force the world has ever known, I will make this point.

MICHAEL MOORE HAS LOST.

He did everything possible to defeat George Bush. No President in the history of the Union has EVER been up against the type of onslaught that President Bush faced. Besides the unprecedented release of what amounted to a feature length campaign commercial, the rows and rows of anti-Bush books that lined the shelves of Barnes & Nobles (two of which were penned by Michael Moore himself), Moveon.org, George Soros, Bruce Springsteen, Air America (which took the air with the sole purpose of defeating the President).

Despite all of this, BUSH WON.

ALL THAT TIME and MONEY THEY WASTED, and Bush KICKED A$$ to the tune of 3 million votes.

Moore underestimated George Bush, and now it appears he underestimates our military as well... I don't think I will waste any more time worrying about what Michael Moore thinks because he ALWAYS wrong.
