Over a longer period of timd that is going to be the outcome, whether planned or not. I have to come down on the side of thinking it is planned. Governments and organizations on both sides are facilitating this. Why? I haven't a clue.

I'll take a guess and suggest that perhaps the FTAA (Free Trade Area of the Americas) is going to be our version of the European Union. I think the European Union is out to destroy the U.S.'s economy. If the Euro Union told its member that they could no longer trade with countries that didn't belong (U.S.), could it hurt the U.S.'s economy?

I read something yesterday indicating that he changed his mind in mid stream and decided to be a lawyer.

yes - he got to go because he was very very smart as an enlisted guy....then he got the chance to go to rice and he did....this guy is the real thing....i'm very happy that W has appointed him as AG - and I work for the DoJ so believe me...the fact that this is a guy we (most employees) are for him should speak volumes...
