I think I'll accept our authorities statements before Gorby's, OK?

We don't owe entry to anyone - if there's the slightest doubt, keep them out!!!

If he were really in favor of peace, he'd condemn Islam.

Is he an out-and-out raghead or a Sufi?

"Cat Stevens' life has not been simple," Gorbachev said. "Every person who takes a critical stance to make the world a better place ... has a difficult life."

Converting to Islam is taking "a critical stance to make the world a better place"? Gorby has lost his mind.

Cat Stevens made the decision to "go" with Islam when he was stoned out of his mind for weeks on end.

If I'm not mistaken, he was a follower of Ayatollah Khomeini when the lowlife murdering piece of trash was alive.

Yusuf Islam gave his blessing to the death sentence handed down against Salman Rushdie by the late Ayatollah Khomeini. And this jackass gets a "peace prize"?

The Leftists live in a screwy world in which evil is good, good is evil, the U.S. is tyrannical, and terrorists are worthy of "peace prizes."

Then he's a real raghead. Sufism (sp?) has an element of spirituality in it that indicates a glimmer of kindness and mercy.

The rest of 'em aren't worth p*ssing on.

I wonder if he considers the bombed train in Spain a "Peace Train".

Strange. As an enthusiastic advocate of understanding and peace he must have uttered many condemnatory statements over the evils of Islamic fundamentalist and their atrocities around the world. But somehow my newspaper doesn't seem to have reported them!

Gorbachev is the Jimmy Carter of Russia. Ask any Russian, they all think Gorbachev was a complete idiot.

Love Train, is a better 1970s "peace and love song." The O-Jays performed that one. Give the prize to them.

Sort of like our Soldiers and the Commander in Chief?
Gorby was the big cheese in the evil empire when Pres. Reagan made him tear down his wall. If it was up to him the Soviet Union would still be a gulag and would be exporting terror worldwide.
