Is Islam half empty, or half full? Neither. It's half-assed.

"..."Almost half of the city's mosques have been destroyed after being targeted by US air and tank strikes," al-Badrani added... I like our new rules of engagement." I do too! FINALLY we are not letting them hide/regroup/catch-a-breath/shoot-at-our-troops from mosques. THE GLOVES ARE OFF AND IT'S ALL OVER BUT THE CRYING AND MOPPING UP THE BLOOD"
RIP insurgents terrorists! You know that whole 72 virgins thing? it was a lie...they meant to say 72 "versions" of hell you will suffer. Buh Bye!!

Who the hell can possibly swallow this tripe? I'm just a former Coastie, and never served in combat, but I find it very hard to believe that even one, let alone two of our tanker crews could be captured by these terrorists. All of hell would decend on those responsible.

I seriously doubt that we've had to destroy half the mosques. Here's a picture of the city with some of the mosques circled. Up top are the starting positions of our forces at the beginning of the invasion. Based on where the resistance was encountered, most of these mosques wouldn't have encountered fire, IMO.

It's about time. This "sitskrieg" strategy was getting our soldiers killed.

"What is exactly considered a Mosque."
A Mosque is defined as a place to store ammo and combatants, according to Islamic Law.
To: Oldeconomybuyer
It's a propaganda hit piece.

Almost half of the mosques in the Iraqi town of Falluja have been destroyed, with US warplanes launching air strikes and fierce fighting on the ground continuing.About time they took down the main terrorist supply bases, now take out the other half boys!!
To: Oldeconomybuyer
THIS IS AMAZING!!
Earlier a few BBC articles was posted with information from a certain "Fadil al-Badrani". Everyone was joking about how this guy probably works for Al Jazeera. Well, lo and behold, who is the source for this article at Al-Jazeera? You guessed it - Fadil al-Badrani.
In other words, the BBC is using what is almost certainly a blatantly partisan terrorist-sympathizing shill to file it's reports from within Falluja!
How far the once mighty BBC has fallen.

"Almost half of the city's mosques have been destroyed after being targeted by US air and tank strikes," al-Badrani added. Gee whiz -- We're only following orders from Mr. Allawi, THE LEADER OF THE IRAQI PEOPLE....

"Everything to the west is weapons free," radios Staff Sgt. Sam Mortimer of Seattle, Washington. Weapons Free means the marines can shoot whatever they see -- it's all considered hostile. Excellent!
