"If Gore had come out in favor of impeachment, it would have forced Clinton to resign "
Wrong. Liberals like Gore but they LOVE Clinton.

'With one decision, of one Supreme Court, all of a sudden we have a consitutional amendment designed, to whip people up, to inflame them, make them stop thinking about other issues.'Better to keep it secret, I guess.

John Kerry was the overwhelming factor in the defeat of John Kerry. After he met with the North Vietnamese during the war and after he trashed all Vietnam veterans I would never have voted for him ever under any circumstances, and I am far from alone in that. That's my take on it.
As an anecdote: I have two friends who would not vote for Bush, but because of Kerry's treasonous behavior they couldn't vote for Kerry either. - Tom

Clinton is saying that ONLY if Kerry had LISTENED to the GREAT BILL CLINTON, then Kerry would have won (Total BS...but the usual self-absorbed Clinton).

I guess I'm one of the few people who think that Bush's re-election was not tied to the sodomy marriage initiatives.
I think it would have come out exactly the same way if there had been no marriage flap.
Bush got only a few percent more evangelicals overall than in 2000. And obviously there were many states where Dems voted against sodomy marriage and then voted for Kerry.
Clinton: still a bad political strategist.

Did you read Kerry's interview with the Advocate ("gay" newspaper)?
He tacitly said that he currently is opposed to "gay" marriage but will probably "change his mind" in the future.
Wink, nod, wink.

Anti guns lost it for Gore, gay marriage loses it for sKerry. The next dem candidate will have a hunting photo op with his longtime companion. But he wont be holding the goose. (or his boyfriends hand)

Bill married gay LOL
I always found it strange that BJ only went for BJ's from Monica (if we can belieb anything from that sordid affair).
Now I'm wondering why Assarat was his most frequent Whitehoser foreign visitor.

A good cartoon. It succinctly expresses my take on why Kerry lost.

The ONLY way Dems can ever win a President election is by masking their true agendas.
John Kerry was a bad bull-sh*t artist; He lost.
Bubba Clinton was a good BS artist; He won.
But as good a BS artist as Bubba was, he NEVER got a majority of votes.
What was it that Lincoln had said? "You can some of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time"?
