The next most difficult section is a snowfield where you face both. Kill the Plague but don't bother trying to kill all the Covenant. Kill the Elite and the Hunters if you can then run and grab a Banshee!

I got killed about fifty times on this snowfield. I didn’t know what I ultimately had to do here, so I wasn’t done until everybody was killed. I figured out how to get the Ghost up there, then sat up on a hill and just blasted everything for about five minutes. Then I’d use the ghost to ride in and kill a bunch of them and zip away to recover. I also used it to go back to the previous zone and scrounge up more rockets and other weapons.

I eventually emerged victorious and alone there and figured out that I just needed to grab the phantom.

But it was fun killing everybody in there.

BTW, I finally completed the entire mission, much to the relief of my wife.

Speaking of Halo 2, I just got off vacation and beat the game. Supersweeeet!

Is Halo 1 worth getting?
