I happen to have known--distantly--Isaac Asimov. I saw him in action at a WorldCon (World Science Fiction Convention). A line of pre- and post-pubescent female fans stood waiting to sit in the Great Man's lap. Like Santa at Christmas. Once they got there, his hands were everywhere--and I mean everywhere. Moms standing by, beaming with pride--as their daughters were being fondled.

I suppose fame has its advantages but eventually Michael Jackson got nailed; Isaac died before the lawsuits could catch up with him.
