Who is stabbing who in the back? If we accept Specter we are sending the message the GOP is easy to strong arm. Say goodbye to President Bush getting anyone on the Supreme Court.

Arlen is a political chameleon...he'll blend with whatever opinion prevails in a room. Much like sKerry...

No, you didn't, though I do like the ego trip, rather reminiscent of your friend Specter.

If you are going to bother to reply, you might want to try and actually address what you are supposedly responding to, otherwise you are wasting everyone's time, as in your previous posting.

Specter also put "Scottish Law" above the Constitution, to the obvious disgust of Chief Justice Rehnquist, who I think knows more than you or I.

One day after Bush helped Specter earn a victory in the primary, he viciously attacked Bush. What does that tell you?

Bush is trying to pass tort reform. How will that happen, when the head of that committee is dedicated to preventing that and took loads of cash from trial lawyers.

He also promised to approve the International Criminal Court, putting U.S. soldiers and citizens under an international court.

If Specter wins the chairmanship and subsequently

I have a question for you:

If Specter wins the chairmanship and subsequently blocks Bush from putting someone on the Supreme Court, what should we do? I guess nothing, because Specter was totally upfront about it. Let's let Hillary name the next 5 Supreme Court justices.

The Democrats would never let this happen. When they win an election, they move their agenda forward, not backward.

Yes I did...times ten.

I'm not worried about wasting my time and even less about yours.

It tells me you're irrational. Look at your post. Specter "viciously attacked Bush. Reinquist was filled with "obvious disgust." Specter is "dedicated to preventing" tort reform. Specter "promised to approve the International Criminal Court." Hogwash. It's a bunch of distortions, half truths, and outright horse manure. Come back when you've sleeped off the jug wine.

What matter if I answer. You don't respect my opinion. I have tried very hard over the last few days to explain why I think it is unwise to rebuke Specter. I believe I might never be able to change your mind. Why don't you email Dubya, Cheney, Santorum, Rove, Rush, and Hanity and ask why they think they can deal with Specter when it's so obvious to you that Specter is a danger to our very existence. Or perhaps THEY are part of the conspiracy to steal your bodily fluids Ripper.

The Bush family seems to have a penchant for undermining their base and they never gain any hoped for advantage for doing so.

Lest you think this is fiction - these signs started to appear in the Philadelphia area just before the election, paid for by Arlen’s former campaign manager. This particular picture originially appeared in the Philly Daily News.

Nope, and your repeating you did is pathetic.

I asked what his motivation was absent a desire to torpedo conservatives, and you couldn't answer, just like Specter.

Nor could you answer the secondary point, that Specter has told the Left he will torpedo conservatives and after the recent flair up he's told conservative he will not. He is lying to someone, why on earth would anyone would believe it is his friends and allies he is lying to.

Have fun evading the point again, as I am sure you will.

I concede your point. I'm moving on to a less clever wingnut unless you tell me a funny joke.

Joke of the Day!

At the very least, Senate Republicans should keep him from the judiciary committee.
