"there is bewilderment, sadness and anger in the Netherlands."
I take it news about 9/11 hasn't gotten there yet.

It's time people start awakening to the fact that we are well into WW IV. I see exactly three possible outcomes: We submit to them and convert to Islam, we are killed by them, or we kill them. Only one is acceptable.

They should ask the terrorist what they want and then give it to them. Maybe then this type of killing will stop. It seems to be working in France......sorta.

"... the victim of what many Dutch are calling the country's first terrorist attack.."
Oh Please. Is there no journalistic training or editotrial oversight at all these days? Even I recall the Dutch Marines entering more than one dust-up with South Moluccans seizing trains and embassies, and I do believe it was considered "terrorism".

"It's not just a specifically Dutch disease," Scheffer said. "Violence like this could happen just as easily in Lyon, Copenhagen, Antwerp or Berlin. This is a European problem." Hey Old Europe, face the islamists or die!

eldest of nine? no wonder half the children in Holland will be Muslim in less than 20 years.

Good first step in recognizing the horror that is Islam, The Cult of Murder.

Thank goodness the Europeans are waking up. I hope they start standing up too.

Moroccan immigrants interviewed for this article say they condemn van Gogh's killing. But they also complain of anti-Muslim feelings and discrimination in the workplace. Yeah, that would be a little like me saying "Sure, I condemn Martin Luther King's killing, but I also have a gripe about my company's "diversity" program."
Muslims had better wake up, or sometime, probably sooner rather than later, somebody's gonna start paying them back in kind.

The IslamoFascists face Dutch "justice": Prison (for a few months), cable TV, gourmet (no pork) meals, conjugal visits, and then home with full welfare benefits and free health care in no time flat.
OOOOH the scary Dutch have the moonbats quaking in their sandals.
They are sheep to the IslamoFascist slaughter, prisoners in their own country to an invading army of moonbats.
The pathetic end to a nice little nation. Killed off by socialism, abortion, and euthanasia, the Dutch will vanish from the genetic pool of humanity, replaced by swarthy violent muslim barbarians.
The Netherlands, RIP

It's good to see that they are finally waking up to this problem. I wonder how difficult it would be for them to "clean house".

Usually, stories like this die down a day or two after the event. The Dutch have already crossed a major milestone by continuing to discuss the issue. I really hope that this is the start of some real action taken by their government. Then the rest of Europe can follow suit.
My advice would simply be to ban Islam. Set a conversion date. All those who are still of the Islamic faith on xx/xx/xx get deported. Arrest anyone who goes to the mosque. Maybe the Dutch can use one of their old colonial outposts as a location for exile.

How do you say "Spit out the poison!" in Dutch?
It might make an effective graffiti.
