"does it bug anyone that this is happening in broad daylight??? is that protocol for house to house now?'
Er, Ummm, once you start it's a bit hard to stop just because the sun came up.
Also, a lot of what I've seen so far was taped yesterday/last night (here) when the troops were forming up and/or probing and shaping what was to come. Likely that we are using darkness right now to advantage.

"If the terrorists are "dug in" and a C-130 is called in to target that position, the terrorists will then have to be "dug out" from under a lot of rubble."I believe a C-130 is a cargo plane...

I propose as the Official FR Op Designator:
Operation Roach Motel.
The bad guys have checked in-but they won't be checking out.

Im pretty sure I saw a bullet impact at the bottom of that hole in the wall the Marine is firing behind; too close for comfort!

If the terrorists are "dug in" and a C-130 is called in to target that position, the terrorists will then have to be "dug out" from under a lot of rubble. I like the way you think. I hope this is the most unfair damned fight our guys have ever waged and won.

A lot of secong guessing going on in the reports from the embeds. They are only at one site in the battle.Last report had our forces at 20,000 coalition troops.
They probably operate in platoon strength with the one embed.
It is getting dark now and it will be hard to tell what is going on until morning.
We fight better in the dark than the enemy.

I love those pictures.
Go troops, and get one for everyone we've lost over there.
May you have total victory over this evil!

""The info is coming from embedded reporters, who have been briefed on disclosure." All it takes is one "reporter" to put our troops in harms way."Remember Geraldo's dirt maps?
Speaking of Jerry, I don't see his byline or face anywhere; oh drat!
