Good morning, everyone. What a great day. It's Friday, payday, and President Bush is still in the White House. Four more years. Thank You, Dear Lord, for answered prayers.

I am sooooo glad the election is over, and Bush is triumphant!
Plus it's FRIDAY!
I have a table at the Church bazaar tomorrow, it's gonna be a long day lol. I am so stressed, I'm one of those obsessive/compulsive people who never feels prepared enough lol
I tell you what, this Christmas/New Year, even if I am flat broke, will be totally awesome knowing we will be inaugurating President Bush again!

Marching Off The Map

Read: Genesis 12:1-4

Get out of your country, from your family and from your father's house, to a land that I will show you. —Genesis 12:1

Bible In One Year: Jeremiah 34-36; Hebrews 2

Life is what happens to us while we are making other plans. Our lives are subject to detours and corrections that we never expected or imagined.

Abraham and Sarah could testify to that. They were planning for retirement when life "happened" to them. God adjusted their agenda. He told Abraham, "Get out of your country, from your family and from your father's house, to a land that I will show you" (Genesis 12:1). So this old couple packed up the tent and headed out to only God knew where.

When Alexander the Great had completed his conquest of Persia, he headed east. Author Halford Luccock said the general "marched off his maps."

That happened to Sarah and Abraham. God gave them marching orders without a map. They needed only enough faith to begin the journey, and they headed out to unknown territories and unimagined adventures. God never told them He would turn them "every which way but loose" before fulfilling His promise of a son who would become a great nation.

Make your plans. But write them on paper, not in concrete. God and life have a way of intruding and leading you on a journey that you might not have anticipated in your wildest dreams. —Haddon Robinson

Many things about tomorrow

But I know who holds tomorrow
And I know who holds my hand. —Stanphill

It IS an irritating term, but it would be a MORE irritating term if Bush had lost!

To: Billie; All
Have some good figures to share with you all today.

Saw in the local paper where 74 percent in my county voted for President Bush.

On the front page of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution yesterdays headline was AMERICA SPEAKS - Bush Leads Sweep - Divisive contest ends with voters giving the president for more years and his party a strong hand.

83% Georgia Counties For Bush - Only the state's urban areas went for Democrat John Kerry

81% U.S. Counties For Bush - Across the country, the president carried heartland counties, while Kerry scored in coastal, big city regions.

The AJC is a liberal rag and I haven't bought an issue in over 5 years - until yesterday. :)

Good morning, Mayor. What a great lesson today.

I read your post on another thread about reform for New York and wish all of you in New York the best of luck with changes.

I have experienced this myself.
