I shudder to think what the world would be today had these bloody muppets populated c.1940 Britain.... Would Churchill, who promised nothing more than 'blood, toil, tears and sweat,' have been able to mobilize and inspire the requisite courage in an entire nation? I doubt it. |

BTW, a poster commented on another thread that reporters were given unfettered access to both campaigns but on the condition that they didn't report any of the inside stuff until after the election, so that might splain why we're only hearing about this stuff now. Yep, I saw that too.
