I, too, really like him, and can't understand why he caucused with the Dems when Jumpin' Jim Jeffords switched parties. If Zell had caucused with us, that whole episode would have been moot.
Well, he's pretty bull-headed, and I guess he thought he could change the party from within.

He IS my daddy's democratic party. It's a shame there's not many left (no pun) like him. He's an asset to the Democrats, but they can't see it.
