That's true. In Spain, the loser conceded without causing a fuss.

So many things to rejoice about this morning: W's in, Kerry's out, pipsqueak Daschle's out, Mary Francis Berry will be out, and that's not all. I could go on and on [but I have to go to work]. Oh, yes-- we showed UBL and Le Monde what we think of their opinions. It's a good, good day!

Ping for after election reminder! We, the "average" Americans have rallied.
In contrast, President Bush has primarily had the endorsement of two groupsour heroic military men and women, and average Americans across this country. You know who they arethe ones who pay the bills and the taxes, remain faithful to their wives and husbands, raise strong kids, fly the American flag, and actually love this country. Yeah, those people.

Right! But most people in Spain love America over most European countries.
And the fino, tappas, and jamon are very enjoyable!

Nope we're not Spain. However, I'm very relieved that Kerry took my state, because bin Laden promised he won't attack us if we didn't vote for Bush. Whew - that was close! (Just in case someone misunderstood...)

Many Spaniards were mortified at backing down.
I think the "mommy" vote won and those with
cajones, a hair, were screamed down by those scared, panicked, frantic mommies (Not gender specific).
I only know of this because I know a middle-aged Spaniard who IS mortified and reported to me of OTHER Spaniards who did not want to back down.
