I voted for Bush this time, not that I expected him to lose NC. I also voted for Burr. If I had known for definate that Bush would have won NC by 12-13%, then I probably would have voted LP but the few polls that showed Bush only up by 3-5% here made me vote for him (I voted early)
I'll be changing my registration ASAP
The LP's only stated object, by their own words, was to throw the election to Kerry. The LP isn't conservative.
Welcome back to the world of sanity, reason and principles worth fighting for.
Well they messed up the votes that would have gone for the President in Michigan. Nader messed with Kerry's results, too.
It's still running close. Oakland county hasn't gotten all their votes in yet.
>>The LP's only stated object, by their own words, was to throw the election to Kerry. The LP isn't conservative.<<
Correctomundo. I've now left the Libertarian party in the dust after the crap they pulled this year, with everything at stake.
I will say, that the Republican party MUST and I repeat MUST get more fiscally conservative and we must reign hell down in Fallujah.
out -
I've had LP'ers tell me that President Bush didn't earn their vote. That's obvious, when you're stated goal is to defeat the President John Kerry earned their vote.
I probably would have voted CP but only Bush, Kerry and Badnarick were on the ballot here in NC
For years the LP has been an anti-Republican rather than pro-libertarian party. Of course, that makes theme ineffectual in both endeavors.
Same difference.
Can you say "disenfranchised?"
Conservatives must get that through their heads; the LP is not conservative, simply anti-Republican. They are no different then the Democrats.
I have to agree with the LP and CP in one regard. It is time that conservatives take notice of them...and treat them like the "spoilers" and "tools" they are.
CP is very conservative.
No, they aren't. They're simply good at making empty and ludicrous promises.
The last gasp from the Losers...
You're opinion, not fact of course. Neither of course have no voting record to base it off of, but they at least haven't stated they want to be a spoiler in a Bush loss.
Fact Two: The Constipation Party candidate said that abortion in America would end on his first day in the Oval Office. That statement is utterly ignorant of the Constitution...it is simply a hot air EMPTY PROMISE.
Fact 4: I care less than . much about your opinion.
