Yep, a lot of War of 1812 vets still voting for the Dims!
To: bushisdamanin04
that would be great but i would trade it all in if we could get Bush re-elected.........that would be the best of all worlds.........

Dick Morris likes Rasmussen, which worries me. Oh gee, that says it all. I guess we can forget Ras then.
To: Lady Heron
I didn't say we should forget Rasmussen; I merely find it difficult to accept Dick Morris' assessments about anything.
His stated belief that Rasmussen is the best pollster out there (in the face of a fairly dismal performance in the last presidential election) gives me pause. That's all I was trying to say.
It seems clear that sarcasm isn't your stock-in-trade, and that's a good thing.

Hmmmm....That was a joke, I guess not your stock-in-trade. I was laughing with you not making fun of you if you still do not get it.
Oh well, I was never any good at hitting punch lines well anyway. Sorry to offend you not my intention. Morris never gets anything right so his endorsement of Ras is not a good sign all I was kidding around about.
To: Lady Heron
Well, now that I've re-read your post, and I see your intent, I am smiling both at your wit and at my inability to recognize typed humor.
Go Bush! Is your state safe?

Very. Missouri is going for Bush and the state I am moving to this month (Georgia) is also very safe.
I really am very bad with jokes. I should not even try.
To: Lady Heron
No. Your joke was fine. I'm on edge and that's why I reacted so badly.
Welcome to GA. I'm in Cynthia McKinney's congressional district and of course I'll vote against her but she'll win.

Great odds. If John F*ckin' defies all predictions, there will be lot of unhappy investors and academics on Wednesday.
