Good for them.
Isn't this an oxymoron?
These Hispanic Democrats are much better conservatives than the Buchanan/Tancredo anti-Bush anti-immigrant crowd.
The media is telling us Kerry is making gains among Cuban Americans..this is clear proof of this....bhahahahaa
My belief is that the Hispanic vote for Bush will be much than anyone has predicted and will be one of the great surprises of this election.
The Castro endorsement did not help French Kerry.
"We believe the Democratic Party is rooted in the values of faith, freedom, family and country.
SOUNDS LIKE THE REPUBLICAN PARTY TO ME!
TIME FOR THE LOCAL REPUBLICAN PARTY CHAIRMAN TO MAKE A VISIT TO THEM AND LET THEM KNOW THAT JOHN F. KENNEDY IS DEAD! FOR 40 YEARS.
Well, that's gonna go over like a warm bowl of pus on the Kerry campaign charter.
Heh-heh.
I may have to join that party - unlike the rnc & dnc that refuse to promote decency, honesty and morality.
I do not like the Constitution Party simply because of the official religious platform - smacks too much like theocracy.
The Libertarian Party is close but a bit too much for me.
"Libertarianism without Conservatism is anarchy. Conservatism without Libertarianism is fascism."
If this were a Republican group coming out against the POTUS if would be on the front page of every newspaper and the talking heads would be barking it non stop.
I have read about many, many more democrats swapping sides than I have Republican's.
It's nice to see that there are those who see the whole picture instead of just empty promises.
The 20th century Democratic Party has never stood for any of these.
And that includes JFK, who was about as useless President as Clinton was.
I know that in my town, the puerto ricans who are normally dems are voting for Bush.
They cite concerns with Kerry not being able to defend our country as th ereason why.
I think the mainstream media will also be surprised by the level of conservatism of young voters and Bush's gains with black and Catholic voters. I personally think Bush will win more comfortably than he did in 2000.
In Connecticut, I call it the lesbian state, they say Dodd is getting 64% in the polls but Kerry is only getting 52%... I think that says something.
The writer is much too P.C. - these people are AMERICANS of Cuban descent mainly --- they do NOT call themselves "hispanic" - a contrived word created by the communist carter administration to further split the Republic of the U.S.A.
Not only is Kerry not a real Democrat, he is not a real man...real men protect the life of the unborn and do not allow babies to be murdered. How easy it would have been for Bush not to go into Iraq. He took the high rode and at great risk to his political career, something Kerry could never understand. He detours and backtracks so much he gets lost. Someone without any sense of direction and
moral compass is the last person who should be President of this great country.
