I could never vote for McCain after he wouldn't stand with the SBVs.

Mayor Giuliani would be the best I can think of. He is highly respected by both parties...That should tell you everything you need to know. I would stay home.

Judging a presidential candidate is simple. Look at his top paid staff. If they are top shelf he has a chance. If his campaign manager is his little sister, write him off as a vanity candidate.

I've been very disappointed in his tepid support for Bush and still criticizes him on news programs occasionally too when he disagrees with Bush about something. Nope, he will not get my vote!

John McCain is the GOP front runner for 2008. No. He's not.

Tradesports already has a 2008 GOP nominee section (which is a little nutty, but anyway). McCain is coming in first, with Rudy G second. That's obviously purely based on name recognition right now.
McCain will be 72 in 2008 and has had serious health problems. There's no way he'll be the nominee.

Sorry, I used to be a big McCain fan, but after seeing that last interview, he can go pound sand, or jump to his real party along with the rest of the RINO herd.
I just don't trust him anymore, and if he's the candidate, I may not vote.

No, his biggest trouble is he's too damn liberal!

I HATE McCain. He has been the worst 'helper' in this election. Why would the Republicans back him? How about Tom Tancredo? How about Arnold? How about Rick Santorum? How about Newt Gingrich? How about ... ?? (give me a few minutes). Tammy Bruce. John Kyl (AZ). How about Zell Miller? How about ....
